BOY highly satisfied with the participation in the Plastindia

More than 200,000 visitors at the Plastindia – neither BOY nor the organizer had expected such a Run. The specialist of Injection Moulding Machines up to 1,000 kN clamping force presented at the booth of the Indian BOY representative, Karan Engineering Co., a BOY XXS and a BOY 25 E as well. Numerous decision-makers from different industries visited the fair and showed great interest in the performance of the Injection Moulding Machines and in the highly interesting applications. Presented were the implementation of 3D- technology with printed metal mould inserts and the production of optical lenses made of Polycarbonate on the BOY 25 E.

Both exhibits were equipped with the patented control Procan ALPHA ®. The intuitive and largely text-free user interface was also convincing at the Plastindia. In addition both compact Injection Moulding Machines were equipped with an energy-efficient and very dynamic servo drive.

The Indian management, their technical staff and the BOY delegation were very satisfied with the trade fair appearance. This year the German company was one of the few European exhibitors at Plastindia 2018, which takes place every three years. Based on the very positive exhibition results, BOY’s presence on the Indian market will continue to grow. Also in terms of services BOY has a good reputation, thanks to Karan Engineering in India. The extensive service activities of the BOY representation are known nationwide and are highly appreciated by plastics processing companies.
