“We value the opportunity to partner with Nortec and Woojin to bring new robot choices to their German customers,” says Jean-Michel Renaudeau, CEO of Sepro Group. The tie with Woojin Plaimm GmbH is the latest in a series of successful Sepro partnerships with leading global makers of injection molding equipment—more than ten to date.. All are built around Sepro’s approach of “open integration,” based on Sepro’s ability to provide multiple levels of robot integration with the control systems used in most injection molding machines.
Sepro uses a single control platform, called Visual, to simplify programming and operation of its entire portfolio, from 3- and 5-axis Cartesian beam robots to the most advanced 6-axis articulated-arm units. Control of the Sepro robots built into Woojin equipment packages will be fully integrated into the IMM control interface so that all application data, including robot programs, will be stored in one database for faster start-up and operator convenience.
