Among the solutions to be presented will be the SIMOPOR line, an extensive range of products consisting of high-quality PVC free-foam sheets of low density. The focus will be on a type of sheet developed specifically for digital printing: SIMOPOR-LIGHT BRILLIANT. Its brilliant white hue helps to improve the overall colour tone, thus making the printed image appear more vibrant. The finely structured surface finish of the sheets facilitates ink acceptance, which paves the way for premium-quality results in digital direct printing.
The company’s coextruded PVC foam sheet SIMONA COPLAST-AS excels as a printable sheet for outdoor applications. Consisting of high-quality outer skins with a foam core, it boasts UV and weather resistance as well as an excellent surface finish and high rigidity as its key benefits.
SIMONA also offers a compact PVC sheet for applications in the field of printing – in the form of SIMONA PVC-CAW. It is suitable for a wide range of uses and has excellent processing capabilities.
The emphasis at this year’s trade fair will also be on presenting the company’s comprehensive advisory service tailored to the needs of customers from the digital printing industry. SIMONA operates a highly specialised Technical Service Centre that assists customers in selecting suitable materials and answers questions concerning the technical aspects of SIMONA products. The in-house laboratory is responsible for developing PVC formulas for customised solutions.
SIMONA is a co-initiator and holder of the PVC quality mark issued by Industrieverband Halbzeuge und Konsumprodukte aus Kunststoff e. V. (pro-K). Those entitled to use the mark have committed themselves to specific quality standards, in addition to delivering the best possible manufacturing expertise and a premium-quality service. SIMONA is also an active member of VinylPlus, an organisation that focuses on improving sustainability within the PVC supply chain.
