This can be achieved only through reforms in trade policy by diversifying exports, rationalising tariffs and developing world class export infrastructure. Our constant endeavour is to increase our share of global trade and also use trade expansion as an effective instrument of economic growth and employment generation. The Government has placed great emphasis on diversification into new markets while carving out a greater niche in existing markets. CAPINDIA is a good step in this direction.”
